You will get tired.
You will lose sleep.
You will hate every moment of when you get your writing critiqued and ripped apart and you have to rewrite and rewrite and rewrite.
You’ll have nightmares about nail polish and Britney Spears and your editor sending you scary emails.
You will hate how PR people can seem distant in their emails to you and you’ll hate having to compile every article they’ve sent over into a huge monster of a piece.
And hands down, you’ll hate how everyone thinks your job is so easy.
But this is overshadowed by getting your articles in print.
And you won’t be tired the first time you get a huge brand to sponsor your work.
Or when your writing gets over 5000 tweets.
And definitely not when a huge beauty brand is photographing you for their company.
These are the moments that the blood, sweat, and tears make it all worth it and when you can’t imagine doing anything else. I might be busy and I also might be the first person to complain about my busy self but I cannot have it any other way.
